Welcome to Voices of the Void

“It’s like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn’t want to know the end… because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it’s only a passing thing… this shadow. Even darkness must pass.”- Samwise Gamgee

Hello there. Stay a while, and listen. Welcome to Voices of the Void. If I had to choose two things in my life I’m a big fan of, it would be writing and gaming. Of course, with writing comes reading, so I’ll include that as well. Ever since I can remember I’ve been in love with the many worlds of fantasy, such as those dreamed up in Lord of the Rings, Dungeons & Dragons, World of Warcraft, and Pathfinder. My eyes would glow reading stories about wizards, spells, monsters, elves, dwarves, and lands far, far away.

In 2010 I started my journey in editing/journalism when I became an editor for GamerFront.net. Two years later I started my own venture, InitiativeTabletop.com, and have continued writing ever since. I’ve come to appreciate the skills of writers in the gaming community, and I hope to one day contribute to the community by working on a gaming project of my own.

I decided to create Voices of the Void to help me take a step away from editorial work and have a place for my other writing passion: fiction. Worlds such as those seen in Bioshock, Dead Space, Resident Evil, Golem Arcana, and Shadows of Brimstone have gotten a giant chunk of my attention, so much so that I wanted to start writing fiction based upon them. Voices of the Void will serve as the cauldron in which I can keep all of my works in one place.

Of course I will eventually begin my own stories as well as create my own worlds, and they’ll live here as well. I thank you for stopping by and I invite you to stay a while to immerse yourself in worlds beyond your imagination. I hope you find something you enjoy, and remember – adventures await just through an open door to your imagination.
